With over 5 million cases diagnosed in the U.S., skin cancer is America’s most common cancer. At this educational seminar presented by Dr. Ravinder Gogia, Board-Certified Dermatologist at MarinHealth Dermatology, attendees learned how to identify suspicious spots and take proactive steps toward safeguarding your health and staying vigilant about skin health. Light dinner and refreshments were served.

We Care About Your Health Fair – Saturday, August 26, 2023, 10 AM-2 PM

The Marin Healthcare District provided free health checks for blood pressure and diabetes, distributed free healthy snacks, and provided a fun photo booth for kids of all ages at a pop-up “We Care About Your Health Fair” event on Saturday, August 26, 2023. Over 100 people were screened that day – we were honored to be able to provide health checks for interested individuals, and we were proud to host this event for the Marin Community at the Al Boro Community Center in San Rafael.

Most eating disorders involve focusing too much on weight, body shape, and food, leading to dangerous eating behaviors that can harm the heart, digestive system, bones, teeth, and mouth and lead to other diseases. The good news is that with proper treatment and early intervention, your child can return to healthier eating habits and reverse serious complications caused by eating disorders.
